It's the morning of Father's Day 2005.   The family is sleeping in and I get to finish my first model in nearly 20 years… first WWII model in almost 35 years.

I decided to go all out and use an Aries engine and cockpit detail set.  Except for a resin ejection seat I used back in the "Topgun" days, I had never used an after market accessory and cut into the plastic of a kit other then to remove the spruce nubs from parts.  What was the worst that could happen?... it looks like junk and gets used as a test bed for painting practice or whatever.
